In 2004, NSG bought all the assets from Nanjing Chemical Industry Research & Design Institute who changed its name to Nanjing Chemical Industry Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd.. Besides chemical industry research and chemical engineering and civil construction project design, the company’s main business also includes the manufacture of water treatment agent and water treatment technical service, the development and the volume production of fine chemical products such as adhesive, flame retardant and macromolecule crossblend modify materials. The company is the secretary-general organization of National Engineering Plastics Association Plastic Additive Speciality Committee, and it is the sponsor of national publication “Plastic Additives” which has certain influence in plastic industry.
